While extensive experience is not a prerequisite, we are seeking individuals with the ability to effectively manage multiple pieces of information simultaneously. Experience in heavy machinery maintenance on construction projects, particularly in ground engineering, is advantageous.

Tech-Savvy: Fully conversant with the Microsoft Office package, showcasing your proficiency in handling administrative responsibilities with ease.

Relevant Degree: Hold a degree in mechanic or electric engineering, providing you with the knowledge base to excel in this role.

Driving License: A valid driving license is essential to facilitate regular site visits and ensure effective fleet management.

Specific Duties:

At Tender Stage:

Assist business development teams with equipment-related technical queries, including equipment requirements, alternative options, and modifications.
Maintain an updated schedule of fleet requirements to anticipate future needs.
During Project Execution:

Monitor the procurement process of machinery and components, ensuring an efficient workflow from order placement to delivery.
Oversee internal equipment rentals for UK projects, tracking utilization in the company's database.
Visit job sites regularly to understand VSL's equipment and ground engineering techniques.
Support project teams on equipment needs, including spare parts procurement and arranging technical assistance.
Record intervention history in the Computerized Material Management System (CMMS).
As Part of the Plant Development Team:

Assist the Plant Manager in preparing investments for major projects.
Contribute to the development of procedures to structure and improve existing processes.
Act as a liaison between OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and VSL's Digital team to support the Group's digitalization strategy.
